You may have seen our previous blog on, “What are Low Emission Zones and Ultra Low Emission Zones and how will they effect your Welfare Van, Minibus fleet?” but we didn’t cover areas with active zones.
Throughout the UK as part of a move to decrease the pollutants in the air and improve air quality overall, areas have been identified where a levy has to be paid on vehicles which do not meet the emissions standards of:
- Euro 4 (Nox) for petrol cars, vans, minibuses and other specialist vehicles
- Euro 6 (Nox and PM) for diesel cars, minibuses and other specialist vehicles
For those operating Minibuses, Welfare Vans and Camper Van fleets it’s important to know where LEZ and ULEZ schemes are currently operating:

England
- London
- Bath
- Birmingham
Scotland
- Glasgow
Other cities are planning to begin schemes, some which have been delayed due to Covid 19. While not exhaustive we’ve compiled a list below of cities planning LEZ or ULEZ schemes in the future:
England
- Manchester
- Newcastle
- Sheffield
- Bristol
- Portsmouth
Scotland
- Edinburgh
- Dundee
- Aberdeen
Here at CVMWorld all our new vans are ULEZ compliant, and to reduce your fleets environmental impact browse our electric range.
To Learn more about Ultra Low Emissions and how this relates to Welfare Vans we cover it further on our page on ULEZ & Welfare Vans.
