What do you need to know about a 9 Seater Minibus on Lease?
A 9 seater Minibus has 9 seats. What is sometimes misunderstood is that a 9 Seater Minibus on lease is not a 9 passenger seat Minibus.
A 9 Seater Minibus on lease, is actually seating for 1 Driver and up to 8 passengers.

The Driver Vehicle Licencing Authority (DVLA) classifies a vehicle with between 9 and 16 passenger seats as a category D1 vehicle, more commonly known as a Mini Bus.
A driver who holds a vocational D1 or (D) Passenger Carrying Vehicle (PCV) licence can drive minibuses for hire or reward*.
